Moby Dick in Tour is a format that was established in 2013 with the aim of promoting the European mobility opportunities for young people and opportunities for self-development provided by the European Union.
Every year Moby Dick ETS organizes tours in the Campania Region and in Southern Italy to promote European citizenship, to inform and train young people, develop those skills necessary to become European citizens and to be informed of the Programs that the European Union offers to young people under 30. The format provides various activities which in particular take place in small and medium towns of the South, or territories where it is difficult to reach young people. The activities take place in primary and secondary schools during which, through the methodology of non-formal education, students learn and deepen the history, politics and importance of Europe and the European Union. Other interventions aim to bring together associations and local organizations to promote the possibilities that they themselves can put in place in favor of their territory, through thematic focus groups on the programs promoted by Europe. Finally, the tour includes a meeting with the institutions and administrators to make them understand the importance of the opportunities offered for the growth of their territory and the young people who live there.
The final stages of the tour were supported by the involvement of Municipalities from the internal areas of the Campania Region, namely: Cilento Interno, Vallo di Diano, Alta Irpinia and Tammaro-Titerno in the Benevento area.
